OK..I know it’s Saturday but I wrote this post Tuesday night just before I turned in for the night and I forgot to hit the post link! It’s Christmas, right, a time when we are all a little crazy. I really love this idea for a party so I am posting it a little late. anyway…

I had such a great week. We traveled to Texas to visit our son and his family as he graduated from a masters program at Texas A&M. What a wonderful time for our family. While there I had the opportunity to meet with Melody of Mellow Tie Dye. As we wake this morning there are still over 100,000 without power after an ice storm in the north eastern United States. There were originally over 1.2 million without power. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. This has contributed to my post today as I wonder as we enter winter in the northern hemisphere and summer in the southern if we really are ready for a power outage. So this week let’s try to find...

As we discussed last week one of the first affects of a pandemic announcement will be the loss of access to the grocery store. Really, stores normally stock a two day supply of food and when there is a run on the store that supply will last only a few hours. Ask any survivor of a natural disaster about empty store shelved.
