A few weeks ago there was lots of talk on the Internet about the government forcing people to be vaccinated. At the time I told you not to worry about that as there would not be enough vaccine to make that demand possible. I also pointed out that we are only about 12% of the world population and only about 450 million doses could be manufactured each month. That is about the population of the United States...

We have been talking about a Pandemic flu now since October. We have talked about the social impact, as well as the medical, and now we are beginning to see those come to pass.
One community in Minnesota is calling for volunteers to plow the snow this winter as budget cuts, old equipment and the flu will limit their ability to handle the plowing. Hospitals are warning that waits will be very long in emergency rooms...
