One of the steps in our Seven Steps program was to learn a new skill. To help us get through the present financial disaster around us we are all going to need to make more money or save more money. In that spirit I have tried to highlight businesses that have been developed by you to provide added income for your family. Today I would like to tell you about a really fun ebook that will help you learn a new skill and save money, while helping Nancy make a little. On Nancy’s website this bio is posted:
I am a homeschooling Mom who loves to learn new things! I also like to see how information and skills learned in the past are used in the present. I went to Cosmetology school when I was a young person and only worked in that field for a few years. But a life skill like haircutting is just that; a skill that is useful your whole life. I’ve been cutting every member of my family’s hair now for almost 20 years!
One day I got this neat idea to take photos and write a book, and viola’ there it was, my first e-book. It has blessed many people and I know it will be a blessing to you too!
Nancy emailed me a copy of her ebook and it is great! I had two little boys and I cut their hair. It was a challenge, I taught myself, but I did it and they looked just fine. They are even blondes, harder to hide your mistakes. I wish I had had a guide like this at that time. She has lots of step by step instructions and pictures making the learning process very easy. Nancy is also a home schooler and has a second ebook: Homeschooling is our Life http://www.payloadz.com/go/sip?id=516865 I haven’t seen that book but I’m sure it is wonderful too.

I have four sons and have been cutting theirs and my husband’s hair for years. It has saved us tons of money and time running around. I have cut my daughter’s hair a couple of times, but she really likes going to the salon. Seeing as this is only a couple of times a year, she can enjoy being pampered by a professional.
Back when I was coerced into trying to cut hair, it was pretty scary. I wish there had been an e-book like this one for me. I did check out a couple of books at the library and asked a neighbor for help. Both continue to be good sources of information on all kinds of skills.
I have been cutting hair of my guys every since I was taught by an older lady. She was getting Meals on Wheels delivered and was partially blind and needed help finding her “2 inch cardboard measure” I have used that rule with my husband and also my son. Another helped me learn how to feather the hair. To think I was saving $5 a cut when I started, what is it about $20 now? About four times a year? Never thought about how much I was saving.
