La Nina Forecast by Region for 2011-2012

 

Just in case you missed the show last night, here is the forecast for this winter in the United States.Today there is very cold weather and storms affecting Alaska and we all remember the storms in the eastern states 11 days ago, so it begins… Are you ready for 11 days with no power? Ask the residents of Connecticut who thought it couldn't happen there, but it did. Still no power, after 11 days. 

This winter's forecast from NOAA:

La Niña often results in below-average temperatures and increased mountain snow in the Pacific Northwest and western Montana during the winter months. This may set the stage for spring flooding in the Missouri River Basin;
