Our General Store…Fruit

"farmer's market"

I’m sorry I have missed several days. We had a granddaughter pass away. I am traveling today but I know many of you are faithfully adding to your store each week. This week we are due to add fruit again. Add 5 (14 oz.) cans per family member. If you are canning your own , of course, you may substitue quarts for the pint size and add half as much. You may also freeze fruits if you have access to great produce right now. 1 1/2 cups of frozen equals 1 can so figure accordingly. Be sure to include some canned fruit as the liquid in it is an important part of our plan, more on that later. If you are behind and want to catch up you can check out what you should have to this point in the July newsletter. I will post more tomorrow. Please keep moving forward!
