Our General Store…Sweeten the Shelves

Sugar for root beer

I’m hitting the road at 5:00AM to be with my daughter who is about to have a baby, hopefully before I get there so she can finally get some sleep. So this post is short and “sweet” but I’ll be back tomorrow from Oregon!

In looking over the stock in our store I noticed we have yet to store sugar. Our goal is to have a big variety of foods stored so if an emergency were to arrive on our doorstep tomorrow, we would be ready with the foods necessary to continue eating as we are accustomed. Sugar is also an essential ingredient when creating a rehydration formal when treating a family member for dehydration. This week add 10 pounds of sugar per family member to the shelves in your General Store. If your family does not eat sugar store the sweeteners you use. Only real sugar however, will work when creating a rehydration drink so be sure to store some.

Have a great day!!
