Seven Steps Week 32
I had always intended that this be a catch-up week since today is Labor Day and in many areas school begins this week. Because of the hurricane in the gulf, Hanna building to hurricane strength off Florida and now Ike forming off Africa, I have one important thing I would like you to do.
Please send an email to everyone on your email list and give them the link to this blog. The last several days I have posted information on evacuation and also providing refuge and I have heard from people who needed the information and had never heard some of the tips in those posts. Please tell your friends and family that you are preparing and let them know how important you feel preparation is. Please ask them to forward the link to their email lists,especially any living in hurricane country. Hopefully we can get the information to those who need it now and over the next week and can inspire those who will need it later to begin preparing now.
My prayers are with those in the gulf and also those living in the path of Hanna. I want to do all I can to keep those people safe. Please help me!
I was just getting my kids things together for school and realized the health report I needed to get from their doctor is another document I should store and mail to my contact. It has all their most recent immunization records as well as a statement of their general health. Just a thought…
