You’ve Got To Hear This One!!!!!
Remember I told you to shop seasonal sales? Today I went to Longs and they had all their Valentine "stuff" on sale for 90% off !!!!!!! That's right…90%. I came home with a really cute wire basket, in red of course, 50 goodie bags, 1 gift bag with tissue, 64 lollipops, 64 valentine cards (you know the ones kids pass out at school) and 64 Valentine stickers all for……drum roll…….$1.49!!!!!!!! The original cost would have been $21.34 for a savings of $19.85. By the way the red basket I mentioned was originally $6.99 and was marked down to 9 cents.
I will give half of the cards, goodie bags, and lollipops to a friend who teaches first grade and she will be set for her class next year all for 55 cents.
When you pick up kids or go to the grocery store or to gas up the car check out the stores near you. I wonder what I'll find after Easter.
We came across a 90% off sale for Christmas things a few weeks ago. I really had to concentrate on things I would NEED for next year since I wanted to get it all just for the good bargain. 9 cents! What is that like 98% off??!! Awesome deals.
I did some similar shopping around Christmas, but I always forget about the other holidays! Great reminder!
When I was coming back from school yesterday I stopped at the store and got a really cute t shirt, red with a white heart for 99 cents. I know a teenage girl who will love it for Christmas.
Today at my Target they had bathtowels for $0.74 ea. The recently had rolls of paper towels for $0.20 ea. Such great deals if you plan ahead!
